Importing into Australia


Exportair is able to handle the inspection, documentation and, if required, customs clearance and delivery of your goods. Please contact us for further information on import charges and contact details of our overseas agents.

 

Exporting back to your home country

When you send your unaccompanied baggage home with Exportair, our agent will automatically customs clear and have your goods ready for collection in their offices. This service will save you the frustration of several hours needed for clearing customs yourself. The only charges that you will be required to pay at pick-up are those incurred by our agent. These charges are for the terminal fee and customs permit.

Our agent can also arrange delivery to your home. To provide you with this service they will need to have a completed Customs Declaration form, which will be supplied to you by Exportair.

Delivery to your home

We can arrange the delivery of your cargo to your home wherever possible. For home delivery we will require a photocopy of your passport to accompany the documentation. Please contact us for further information.

 

Documentation Required

All documentation will be completed by Exportair, however to complete this task we require the following details to be supplied by you:

  • Passport to be sighted and details recorded
  • International Airline ticket to be sighted and details recorded
  • GST Exemption form to be completed. We will provide you with this form

Note: In the event these documents are not supplied you will be required to complete your own customs clearance.
